During the 1980s MCM (Michael Cromer München), the famous "Louis Vuitton from Germany", worked with various car-related companies to present a series of customized cars with MCM leather interiors and MCM-related extras. Among the customized MCM cars were several MCM-styled Range Rovers which were built from 1987 onwards.

The conversion of these Range Rovers was carried out in the Auto Becker workshops and involved turning a standard Range Rover Vogue E into a "Sheer-Rover" clone with a complete MCM leather interior including a matching MCM travelbag / suitcase set. The cars you see here were a more standard looking Range Rover Vogue (for Jean-Marie Pfaff) and a far more extreme black car that was fitted with a lot of interesting extras including a Wood & Pickett (-style) Sheer Rover H-nose, Wolfrace 6-spoke wheels, custom black paint with gold striping, truck-styule air-horns on the roof, custom stereo, a Wood and Pickett (-style) dashboard, Recaro Ideal-C seats, Momo steering wheel and everything wrapped in MCM leather, including the roofliner, door cappings, door pillars and the full trunk.

Allthough the black car was a more complete version of the MCM Range Rover and was even presented in a MCM brochure, Auto Becker had built the more tame car for soccer player Jean-Marie Pfaff a year prior (1987).

The MCM-styled Range Rover by Auto Becker Düsseldorf. Cosmetically styled like a Wood & Pickett Sheer Rover with similar front end (most likely obtained through the Wood & Pickett parts-catalog or possibly Auto Kugel from Konz), Wolfrace 6-spoke wheels and twin air-horns on the roof.

A dashboard that looks very similar to the one Auto Kugel from Konz, Germany.

The Recaro Ideal-C seats wrapped in MCM leather with the centres in plain yellow. One can clearly see the pillars and door cappings wrapped in MCM-leather as well.

MCM logos everywhere....

MCM trunk with MCM umbrella and MCM travel gear.

The car came with a matching ski-box. From the outside this Range Rover Vogue was very descrete...

Jean-Marie Pfaff inside his MCM Range Rover. The interior has standard-model Range Rover seats, but obviously re-upolstered in MCM leather, as is the roof liner and almost all parts that can be leather covered.
