The Turin, Italy based coachbuilder Autocostruzione SD was founded by Salvatore Diomante. Salvatore Diomante was the partner of Gioto Bizzarrini, who made a series of very beautifull sports- and racingcars in the 1960s. In the 1980s Diomante was involved in restoring some of these Bizzarrinis. In those crazy 1980s and early 1990s Salvatore Diomante was also involved in some interesting coachbuilding projects of Rolls-Royce, Maserati and Lamborghini cars:

- Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit/Spur 4-door convertible with roll barr

- Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit/Spur 65cm stretched limousine

- Maserati Quattroporte 65cm stretched limousine

- Lamborghini LM002 station wagon conversion (one made for the Sultan of Brunei)
