ABC Exclusive Tuning from Bonn were famous for both their Mercedes and BMW conversions. Of the BMW-conversions ABC Exclusive could offer the most famous and spectacular were the ones based on the BMW 6-Series coupe (E24). Four different conversions were offered by ABC Exclusive:

BMW 6-Series with normal body

BMW 6-Series with normal body modified to convertible

BMW 6-Series with Wide body conversion

BMW 6-Series with Wide body conversion modified to convertible

As expected cars like that didn’t come cheap: the glassfibre widebody conversion cost around 30.000DM in 1985 and for a conversion to cabriolet you had to pay an extra 49.000DM.As usual with ABC Exclusive, most conversions didn’t end with the exterior. Lavish interiors with Recaro seats, all leather, TVs and mini-bars were no exception as the pictures show:

This red E24 6-series by ABC Exclusive is far from standard: Gotti rims, a full styling package with new front- and rear bumpers, door sills and overfenders finished off by a rear spoiler. The full car has been resprayed in a candy-apple-red paint including the trim and grille.

In this photo the car looks very different color-wise but I can assure you it's the same car.

The interior was lavish to say the least: the Recaro seats were upholstered in red leather with black piping, a dashboard improvement was executed by adding a TV and stereo, the shift knob was replaced in ABC-fashion by a falcon's head and between the rear seats one can find a bar with the possibility to store your weekend-liquor.

White and wider: this white ABC-Exclusive 6-Series BMW has received a widebody conversion which was the most dramatic styling option for the E24 offered by the company.
