Founded in 1983 by Wolfgang Fraedrich, the tuning company ABC-Exclusive Tuning from Bonn in (West-) Germany mainly modified Mercedes-Benz and BMW cars.

Many different conversions were offered ranging from bodykits for the Mercedes 190 (W201) and BMW 3-series (E30) to complete overhaul of S-classes (W126) and the 6- and 7-series. The Mercedes S-class (W126) was one of the more prominent focus points for ABC-Exclusive's exploits and the S-class was offered as a stretched limousine, a station car and fitted with luxury exterior and interior finishes in 1000SEL fashion all the high-tech and 24k gold plated options you wanted.

The Mercedes 500SEC also made more luxurious and was offered in 1000SEC-spec given custom luxury exterior finishes and special interiors. The widebody conversion ABC-Exclusive offered for the Mercedes C126 was one that competed with the Koenig-Specials one, each trying to claim the title for the most outrageous conversion on sale. ABC could even mate this widebody conversion to an 500SEC minus its roof; convertible versions of the SEC and also BMW 6-series (E24) were in the catalog, although the actual roof cutting was left to various subcontracted companies in Germany.

Other than the BMWs and Mercs an occasional Jaguar, Porsche and VW were also modified in the workshops of the Bonn based company. ABC-Exclusive also was a dealer for Gotti- and Mangels wheels and a Kenwood HiFi-systems representative.

As most of the 1980s extreme tuning companies, by the early 1990s the company had troubles and ceased business in 1993.

The cars seen are a W124 300E with a rather modest styling package and standard wheels and ABC-Exclusive top-of-the-line Mercedes 560SEC Widebody with Gotti wheels and gold trim. ABC-Exclusive cars were very popular in Japan, and various widebody SEC and 300E Mercedes made their way to the far east in the late 80s and early 90s.
